Cacao Protein Balls

These delicious natural protein balls are a delicious treat and can be made and stored in the fridge for several weeks. They could also be made as a gorgeous home created gift for christmas! Pop them into a decorated kilner jar as a lovely little gift.

Ingredients

200g almonds

200g Medjool dates

4 tbsp cacao powder

2 ½ tbsp almond butter

3 tbsp coconut oil

Method

Place almonds into a blender and blitz until broken into small pieces. Add the remaining ingredients and blitz until all ingredients have combined.

Roll into small balls and place on a tray, pop into the refrigerator for a few hours, remove and place in an airtight container.

These will keep in the fridge for at least two weeks and are a great protein snack for pre or post exercise.
